Honoring Charles LaMonica
August 24, 2026
Charles LaMonica was a musician, a neighbor and a fixture of the celebration. This year the tower the Freedom Ball drops from carries his name.
During Act II of the broadcast, a look back at his life airs, followed by a moment of silence at 7:01 PM ET dedicated to him.
The memorial page on this site collects photos from his life along with his obituary and details on donations in his memory.
