How to watch: free, everywhere, December 31
August 25, 2026
CPSNYE 2027 is a live stream, not a public event. The village is a private miniature display, and the only way to see the night is online — which is exactly the point: it's free and open to anyone, anywhere.
The stream goes live at 5:30 PM ET on December 31, 2026 with the pre-show countdown. The show opens at 6:00 PM with the Freedom Ball raise, runs through six acts of live music and interviews, drops the ball at 11:59 PM, and closes with the virtual choir and band National Anthem at 12:16 AM before the credits roll to 12:30 AM.
The Live Streaming page carries the full run of show, act by act, so you can plan around the segments you don't want to miss.
