Village construction begins September 4

Construction on the CPSNYE miniature Christmas village begins early on September 4, 2026. Every year the village grows — hundreds of hand-built houses, lit streets, storefronts and landmarks laid out street by street.
This year's build includes Cherry Tree Park and LaMonica Tower, the structure the Freedom Ball drops from at 11:59 PM on New Year's Eve.
The village is part of a private display and is not open to the public. The full reveal happens on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, and everything you see will appear on the free live stream on December 31.
